Winston Evans is a member of the the Professional Liability Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association's Litigation Section. He has been appointed as Co-Chair of the Subcommittee on Attorneys Liability for that Committee.

Winston Evans was a speaker at a legal seminar sponsored by Minnesota Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company entitled, "2006 Tennessee Update: Preventing Legal Malpractice Claims and Ethics Complaints In Your Law Practice." The seminar was held in Nashville, Tennessee on November 15, 2006.

The Tournament benefits the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville, Tennessee, whose mission is to provide a"home away from home" for families of critically ill children receiving medical care at Nashville area hospitals.
